The short version

Rise & Grind does not collect or share personal data. The app works entirely on your device. Camera frames are never recorded or transmitted to a server.

Camera usage

Rise & Grind uses your iPhone's front-facing camera to detect and count push-ups using Apple's Vision framework. Camera frames are processed in real time, entirely on your device. No images or video are recorded, saved to your photo library, or transmitted anywhere. When the push-up challenge ends, the camera session stops and all frame data is discarded.

Data storage

The app stores alarm settings and a local session history, such as completed rep counts and challenge duration, on your device. This information never leaves your device and is used only to provide the alarm and history features between app launches.

Third-party services

Rise & Grind does not include any third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services. The app makes no network requests. It works entirely offline.
